iMedX, Inc., a US-based health information & clinical documentation provider recently acquired Prevalent, Inc. & Axcension, Inc., both of which are established providers of healthcare analytics & revenue cycle management consulting services, cite sources.
Reportedly, the recent acquisition completes another phase of global strategy of iMedX, to augment healthcare technology & enable insight into operations for healthcare facilities, to improve patient care while reducing costs.
As per sources close to the matter, proprietary analytics technology from iMedX, Prevalent & Axcension has been combined to create a ground-breaking business intelligence solution for healthcare providers, that enables transparency & understanding across multiple systems.
Christopher Foley, Chairman & CEO of iMedX was reported to state that in the coming years, an inclusive analytics platform will be a requirement for every provider’s revenue cycle management workflow, which is accelerating the need for acquisitions by the company.
