Nissan India to recruit 1,000 people to increase Magnite production

Nissan India has reportedly announced plans to recruit 1,000 people in its manufacturing facility to decrease the waiting period for Nissan Magnite to two to three months.

Sources cite that SUV Nissan Magnite is considered as the most successful car introduced by the automaker so far. It has recorded over 32,800 bookings and 1, 80,000 inquiries since Dec. 2, 2020. The car has achieved a rating of 4-star at the ASEAN NCAP crash test rating.

Based on the satisfactory score, ASEAN NCAP is delighted to introduce that the Magnite had successfully achieved a 4-Star ASEAN NCAP rating in the evaluation, the company said in the statement.

Speaking on which, Ashwani Gupta who is the COO at Nissan Motor Company said that the company is delighted to reinforce its industrial strategy with a third shift production to cope up with burgeoning consumer demand.

He added that the company hopes to continue its contribution to the industrial and manufacturing sector in the nation and create more employment opportunities during these challenging times.

 President Sinan Ozkok has said that the company’s endeavor is to improve its consumers’ satisfaction via a reduced waiting period of just two to three months. This needed extra employment to surge production as well as delivery capacity, he said while adding that the company is hiring over 1,000 people in its manufacturing facility, and has already reinforced its dealer network.

Nissan has reached a massive milestone with the introduction of Nissan Magnite, Rakesh Srivastava, MD at Nissan Motor India said while adding that as consumers have given their positive response with a record level of bookings, and as the sign of their appreciation, the company would continue to offer special introductory cost till further notice. 

To raise the excitement among customers, the automaker will continue to deliver brand new Magnite at the introductory price of all its models.
