Microblogging site Twitter has reportedly started to roll out a new interface for its web users that includes numerous features such as a newly designed emoji button. Apparently, the most vital changes that it has made to the interface are shortcuts to make tweeting a lot easier.

A dedicated large button has been incorporated in the tweet box to make it easier to add an emoji, a trending section that has been updated appears on the right-hand side of the web page, and aesthetic updates for easy readability have been added. The Twitter desktop version has been reduced from 3 columns into 2, to make it simple for users to send and read tweets.

Reliable sources with the matter of knowledge state that none of these changes are a part of Twitter’s previous updates. The Beta testing for the new Twitter features has not commenced yet.

Incidentally, it is not clear how many users will be able to opt in to Twitter’s new desktop version, however, those users who can will be provided with the option for accessing the new web interface.

A report by The Economic Times claims that the renowned micro-blogging site has also included a battery-saving darker mode for the new web interface, in addition to releasing myriad new updates to the app.
