IFF declares expansion of Tastepoint Blueprint to serve mid-tier users

International Flavors & Fragrances, a New York based global leader across the scent, taste and nutrition sectors, has reportedly announced to expand its ‘Tastepoint by IFF’ in various geographical locations around the world and provide local services to mid-size customers. The company plans to tap into Frutarom’s large and well-settled client base and provide them with the choicest of its offerings, while considering the needs of the local market.

Matthias Haeni, Taste CEO, IFF, reportedly stated that Tastepoint by IFF, when established in 2017, aimed to serve the mid-market companies of North America in a way their business models demanded – rather quick and agile, while also offering them the advantage of IFF technologies.

Haeni further stated that with the integration of Frutarom, the company has a great opportunity to replicate the Tastepoint blueprint in key markets thereby fulfilling the commitment of serving the mid-size customer base. The benefits that the combination brings to the customers is yet another great example.

It has been reported that the brand promise of Tastepoint is the perfect blend of heart and science, and it focuses on serving customers with a double-sided approach – the can-do approach of small-scale firms in addition with the expertise that is conventionally remnant of companies that boast of a global reach. The new Tastepoint offers customers an expanded product portfolio through IFF’s Taste Design. Apparently, the new offerings comprise an all-natural portfolio that includes food protection, colors and health ingredients.

Andreas Fibig, Chairman & CEO at IFF, stated ever since the beginning of Tastepoint the company has seen the impact of the ‘small enough to care, big enough to make it happen’ approach on its customers. The company, while focusing on the mid-market companies with knowledge of their local needs and challenges, will help to deliver IIF’s Vision 2021 strategy with a complete customer-centric approach, Fibig adds.

About IFF:

IFF is an American corporation producing flavors and fragrances and cosmetic actives, marketed globally. The company is a global leader in developing unique scents, ingredients, tastes and experiences for products of every kind, from boutique creation to global icons.
